Encounter Church KENNESAW (GREATER ATLANTA)
Encounter Church Kennesaw was planted in 2014 by Pastors Hunter and Liz Howard, who relocated from New Mexico to Georgia, along with a team of young adults that were sent out of Heart for the World Church (Las Cruces, NM). The church started in the basement of Howards' house in 2014 grew through the years into various venues, and in 2020 moved into an official church home in the center of Kennesaw.
The mission of Encounter Church is 'Helping People Encounter God.'

Encounter Church Athens, Georgia - Coming 2026
We’re planting a new church in Athens, Georgia! Pastors Caleb and Brianna Ruthven, along with a team from Encounter Church in Kennesaw, are going to 'Help Athens, UGA, and the surrounding community encounter God.'
